Welcome to StackVote! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our web application and services located at stackvote.app (“Site” or “Service”). By accessing or using StackVote, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

1. Use of the Service

StackVote allows developers and product teams to collect and manage feature requests from their users through public feedback boards, roadmaps, and voting tools. You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

2. Accounts and Access

To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address or third-party authentication provider (e.g., GitHub, Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Feature Requests and Voting

Users may submit and vote on feature ideas via public project boards. We reserve the right to moderate or remove any content that is offensive, spammy, illegal, or violates the rights of others. You retain rights to content you submit, but you grant StackVote a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

StackVote offers both free and paid subscription plans. If you choose a paid plan, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your account. Subscription renewals are billed automatically unless canceled. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

5. Intellectual Property

All content and code on StackVote, including logos, design elements, and platform features, are the intellectual property of StackVote or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to StackVote at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a harmful way. You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting us.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of StackVote. We do our best to keep the platform stable, but occasional interruptions may occur.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StackVote shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, including lost profits, data, or business opportunities.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to your use of StackVote shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the State of California, unless otherwise required by applicable data protection laws.
